STORVICK SIGNS WITH WILLIAM JEWELL UNIVERSITY

Another original member of the Carrera Elite 95/96 squad, Erika Storvick, has signed her letter of intent to play college soccer for William Jewell University in Liberty, Mo.. Coach Sarah Cavin attended the signing along with her parents at Hickman High School.
Erika will join a program that has recruited previous Carrera Alumns: Andrea Turner and Molly Thye. These members of the original Carrera 81/82 team lead the Cardinals to the 2003 NAIA Final Four, with Thye being named an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American. Erika is pictured with Coach Cavin and her Carrera/Hickman teammates, including Mallory Schmidt who has made a verbal committment to play at William Jewell.
ANDERSON SIGNS WITH PARK UNIVERSITY

Long time member of the Carrera Elite 95/96 squad, Allison Anderson, has formalized her college soccer commitment to Park University in Parkville, Mo.. Coach Sarah Cavin attended the signing along with her parents at Hickman High School.
Allison is one of four signings for Coach Ken Hefner: "...These four can all play at a high level and will make immediate impacts in our program." Allison has been with Carrera since U11 and has been a huge factor in the success of the Carrera Elite program.

KOLB SIGNS WITH MISSOURI STATE

Long time member of the Carrera Elite 95/96 squad, Courtney Kolb, will be playing her college soccer at Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo.. Coach Sarah Cavin attended the signing along with her parents at JC High School.
MSU Coach Rob Brewer called his recuits: "... probably one of the highest quality classes we have been able to add in my time here at Missouri State." Courtney started with Carrera at U12 and has used her athleticism to play every position on the field. Courtney also received All-State Honors for her Lady Jays team.
CARRERA ELITE FINISHES STRONG

The final games for the Carrera Elite 95/96 squad were played in the 2014 Showcase of the South Tournament in Little Rock, Arkansas Jan. 18-19. Their record of two wins and one tie was good enough for 2nd place in their bracket, missing the top spot on goal differential. Elite also finishes their season ranked 7th in the state of Missouri on Gotsoccer.com.
The following seniors ended their career with Carrera and are busy making college plans: Allison Anderson*, Maggie Deutschle*, Jesi Gladden, Madison Kent, Courtney Kolb*, Allie Lopez, Carly Raetz, Mallory Schmidt, Erika Storvick*.

CARRERA U13 JOINS MRL FOR SPRING 2014 SEASON

Carrera 00/01, coached by Tec Chapman and Dave Heckart, are stepping up to the big stage of the Midwest Regional League for the Spring 2014 season. The team will meet some of the top teams in the Midwest in MRL league play.
There were over 700 teams across the U-13 and U-14 girls, and U-13 thru U-19 boys in Region II that applied. Carrera 00/01 (U13) is the only team from Missouri on the girls and boys side from U-13 to U-19, that is not based in St. Louis or Kansas City.
The MRL provides team and individual players exposure at the regional level to the highest level of competition, college coaches, and elite team programs.
The Midwest Regional League (MRL) is coordinated by Region II of the United States Youth Soccer. There are four (4) regions in the country. Region II is comprised of the following state soccer associations: IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MN, MI, MO, NE, ND, OH, SD, and WI.
CARRERA ELITE SELECTED FOR CSK 2013

The Carrera Elite team will make its third consecutive appearance in the College Search Kickoff (CSK) Showcase July 25-26 in Muscatine, Iowa. CSK 2013 is the premier Mid-Western College recruiting event.
Carrera Elite is one of 48 teams selected from the 100+ applicants, and will be the 5th Carrera team to attend this event. CSK 2011 is an invitational showcase for youth soccer players who want to play on the college level and are getting ready to enter their junior or senior year in high school in the fall. USA and Canadian U16, U17 and U18 club and league select teams are eligible.
Each year, 96 selected youth teams (48 boys and 48 girls) from clubs and leagues in the USA and Canada compete before 300+ college coaches from the Midwest and beyond. Colleges from all academic and athletic levels—NCAA Division I, II and III plus NAIA, NJCAA and Independents are represented.
